Well I'm sure the date will be posted on this so that saves me a little time. I decided to take my art a bit seriously today, a friend of mine gave me a little boost after I had a pretty rough day. I hadn't had any teaching and I thought I was getting a bit too old to try and become any better at it, but I got a lot of page views today. And it's given me a little more confidence in my artwork. This is my first Journal entry, hopefully not my last. I want to learn more about my strong points and weak points in my art. And emphasize on making my art more known. Well I thank all who read this and are watching my work, you're all truly great.
hey nice start to your gallery, if you want to know how to improve on your skills i can tell you. copying other artists isnt a problem as long as you dont call it your own. simply have the piece in front of you and draw what you see. you will start to learn the form much faster and easier. no person can say that in the beginning they drew master pieces straight from there head. no one can do it. always have references in front of you and your quality will increase dramatically.
u should see some of my early art. it looks almost just like yours. Im not going to lie, u do need to hone your skillz, but like i've said you show potential. ^^
thats how I practice. Im a hard critic on my self. ehen im done with a practice doodle i look at the whole thing, pick out what llooks wrong or bad, and try again or note what it is and try to do it better next time. If you can see it in your head you should be able to draw it. just keep going ^^
